Arrows to test Bridgestones at Silverstone

FOLLOWING a successful test in a plain white 1995 Ligier-Mugen Honda at Suzuka last week, Jos Verstappen is expected to test Bridgestone tires on an Arrows-Hart at Silverstone within a few days. Japanese sources say that the testing will cease to be secretive as Goodyear has - understandably - told Arrows that while the team can have the race tires it wants, it will not be supplied with any development Goodyear tires with which to test, and a tight control will be kept of race tires to stop Arrows doing back-to-back Goodyear-Bridgestone tests.
