Airlines rerouting flights to Orient
THE start of air attacks on Afghanistan has led commercial airlines to reroute their flights to Asia although direct flights from Europe to Tokyo should not be affected as they usually fly over the northern parts of Russia. Flights with stopovers in other Asia destinations may have to be rerouted. Airlines are avoiding all Afghan and Pakistani air space. Airport security remains intense around the world but planes are flying and so there is no reason why the Japanese GP should not take place.
