Young driver test concludes at Magny Cours

Jules Bianchi switched back to the Ferrari F2012 for the final day of the Magny Cours Young Driver Test, and topped the time sheet for the third consecutive day.

The 23-year-old Frenchman, the 2009 F3 Euroseries champion, lapped in 1m16.985s as Ferrari once again concentrated on aerodynamic development.

Rodolfo Gonzalez took over in the Force India VJM05, the Venezuelan setting a best of 1m18.018s.

After Sam Bird did the first two days for Mercedes, complete with a new exhaust layout, the team handed over to Kiwi Brendon Hartley, a former Red Bull junior driver who is now part of Mercedes' simulator programme.

Hartley, mainly on the hard compound Pirelli tyre during longer runs, lapped in 1m18.671s in 87 laps.
