Tribunal - Mercedes reprimanded and excluded from young driver test

The FIA Tribunal has reprimanded Mercedes for using a 2013 car during a Pirelli tyre test, and has excluded the team from taking part in the young driver test this year at Silverstone.

After a seven hour hearing at the FIA headquarters in Paris on Thursday, the tribunal handed down it's decision on Friday, saying that the Mercedes GP team was in breach of the regulations. Pirelli was also reprimanded in the matter.

The FIA panel consists of Edwin Glasgow, Patrick Raedersdorf, Christy Harris and Anthony Scott Andrews. The cost of the case will be split between Mercedes, Pirelli and the FIA.
