Kyle Busch scored Toyota's first NASCAR Cup victory at the weekend in Atlanta. It was the first victory for a foreign car manufacturer since 1954, when Al Keller won a race at Linden Airport, New Jersey, at the wheel of a British-built Jaguar.

The weekend was a bonanza for Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing, as Busch's team-mate Tony Stewart came home in second place to give the team and the Japanese car manufacturer a spectacular 1-2 result.

Dale Earnhardt Jr was third in his Hendrick Motorsport Chevrolet with Greg Biffle fourth in his Jack Roush Ford.

Roush driver Carl Edwards, who has won the last two races, was leading until his engine failed late in the race.
