The assets of the Super Aguri F1 team, will be sold in an online auction later this month. Auctioneers SHM Smith Hodgkinson have been instructed by administrators PKF to sell the assets between July 29 -31. The items for sale include an SA06 car used in the team's first season and its transporters.

The Honda-backed team was founded by Japan™s former grand prix racer Aguri Suzuki at the end of 2005. The team withdrew from the championship for financial reasons in May this year after the collapse of a planned takeover.

The staff of the team has now broken up with some moving to the Honda F1 team and others going off to do their own thing. Technical director Mark Preston is looking for funding for a marine renewable project and is also looking at opportunities in the design of future transport.
