According to Fortune magazine, to be published later this week, Michael Schumacher is the 16th richest person in the world under the age of 40. Top of the list is another figure with vague connections to Formula 1, Russia's Roman Abramovich who is estimated to be worth a cool $8.3bn now that he has sold his interests in Russia and is investing instead in Britain and (perhaps) in Formula 1.
