The Moscow City government has given up any idea of holding a Formula 1 race on Nagatino Island.
The Moscow City government has given up any idea of holding a Formula 1 race on Nagatino Island and is turning over the land set aside for the track for a golf course, hotel and yacht marina. The government says that a racetrack will be built at Podolsk, about 20 miles south of Moscow but all the indications are that St Petersburg is much more likely to get a race.
