Spanish GP winner Pastor Maldonado has admitted that he needs to keep away from the stewards' office and score some strong points in the remaining eight races of his second season with Williams.

Malsonado starts Sunday's Italian GP with a 10 place grid penalty (five for his jumped start in the original Spa race and another five for hitting Timo Glock at the restart). It is his sventh penalty in 12 races this year!

"We need to do something different to be away from the stewards," the Venezuelan said at Monza. "I think the mistake are always different. I need to get out of this moment."

Nobody believes that Maldonado's Williams seat is under serious threat -- he is quick and brings too much PDVSA backing to the team for that. But at the same time, there is soure to be frustration that the team is not banking the contructors' championship points of which the FW34 is capable.
