Ferrari boss Jean Todt has revealed a pact between McLaren and Ferrari to avoid the need for the two teams to go to the FIA and to sort out their problems between themselves.

Ferrari boss Jean Todt has revealed a pact between McLaren and Ferrari to avoid the need for the two teams to go to the FIA and to sort out their problems between themselves. Todt said that the idea came from McLaren and that he signed a deal with the team on June 9. Our sources at McLaren say that since that agreement was signed Ferrari has sent a number of detailed requests for information about the McLaren cars and has received a number of detailed replies explaining McLaren systems, in an effort to avoid there being public dispute.

The implication in Todt's remarks is that the agreement will now end.
