Dennis aims to stop political fighting with Ferrari

MCLAREN boss Ron Dennis says that he does not want there to be further political fighting between his team and Ferrari. Last year the two teams were at odds throughout the season and there were many allegations of cheating and underhand dealings.

MCLAREN boss Ron Dennis says that he does not want there to be further political fighting between his team and Ferrari. Last year the two teams were at odds throughout the season and there were many allegations of cheating and underhand dealings.

Dennis and Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo met in Suzuka last year to discuss the problem and agreed not to allow it to continue. "It doesn't do either of our two companies any good," said Dennis. "Nobody wins in a war of words except the media. We should have our disagreements behind closed doors."
