David Clare has resigned as chief executive officer (Asia Pacific) for A1 GP World Cup of Motorsport, his intention being to pursue automobile manufacturing, PR and marketing projects in Asia.
Clare is an experienced motorsport veteran having worked with FOCA from 1987-1996 before moving on to become chief operating officer of Championship Auto Racing Teams Inc. and subsequently chairman of Champcar before taking up his position at A1GP.
