The FIA World Motor Sport Council meets in Paris later today and it is expected that there will be a number of important decisions, notably the shape of the Formula 1 calendar for next year.

The World Council will also decide what to do with Formula 3000 champion Tomas Enge, who was found to have had cannabis in his blood stream after the Hungaroring F3000 race in August. Enge could be deprived of his win in Hungary and that would take away his championship but he might also be faced with a ban. Enge has denied that he smoked the cannabis and claims that it could have got into his bloodstream by a number of different ways.
