Williams urging bravery on qualifying decision

TEAM-BOSS Frank Williams is urging FIA officials to be brave as they contemplate re-introducing Friday qualifying to Formula One.

Reports have suggested the sport's governing body are ready to bring back Friday qualifying and then combine that with Saturday's qualifying session.

"Several people would welcome the proposal of aggregating the two days, so wet days would still count," said Williams.

"All the solutions have positives and negatives and all it needs is a bit of bravery to try one of them."
