DUTCH driver Jos Verstappen's future could be decided within the next three weeks, according to his manager Huub Rothengatter.

Verstappen, who was recently found guilty of assault by a Belgian Court, is currently in talks with Arrows and is keen to hold his seat at the Leafield based-team.

Rothengatter said: "At the moment we are just seeing what we can do. We are in negotiations with Arrows in trying to secure another year with the team and hopefully we can announce something in the next three weeks.

"We will try to see if we can continue with Arrows and I believe that if we can it will be good for Jos."

Verstappen had a relatively good season as he picked up five of the seven championship points Arrows recorded.
