THE Jordan team's appeal against Jarno Trulli's disqualification from fourth place in the US Grand Prix will be heard at the International Court of Appeal in Paris, France, on Friday 26th October.

The two extra points to be gained by the reinstatement are vital to Jordan as they would lift the team from its provisional sixth place in the constructors' championship, tied with fellow Honda team BAR, to a clear fifth.

A difference of several million dollars and the important boost to the team's chances of retaining Honda power by being the top team are at stake. The International Court of Appeal's decision will be announced Saturday 27 October.
