TOYOTA will unveil their plans to buy into a Formula circuit next Wednesday after officials said they are keen to increase their chances in Formula One by having their own track.

The Japanese manufacturer, who will enter the sport in 2002, said at a meeting that they intend to buy a major share in a circuit - rumored to be Fuji - and confirmed that their plans will become public on November 1.

Toyota will step their preparations in December when Finn Mika Salo, with Sauber in 2000, makes a permanent move to test full-time alongside Scot Allan McNish.

And Toyota want a circuit to be base themselves around, similar to Ferrari's Fiorano track at their Maranello base, and they also plan to host racing in there future.
