Charles Leclerc, second

Leclerc’s speed remains second to none and some of his one-lap performances were mesmerizing, as usual. Showed a lot of improvement in race management and in overall maturity, as apart from falling apart, with the team, in Montreal – while already battling a serious technical issue – performed at a very high level. His ability to fight very hard for every inch of track while keeping things completely clean showed he has what it takes to be champion in the future, as he didn’t waste any points with silly moves that were never on.

Should have won in Azerbaijan but was surprised by Piastri’s daring move, but, as it was the case in their previous seasons as team mates, had the measure of Sainz on most occasions, proving, yet again, he’s the right man to bring Ferrari back to ultimate success.
