The Formula 1 test in Jerez de la Frontera has beens eriously disrupted for the last couple of days by rain although the teams have been using the wet weather to work on the development of tyres and carry out systems checks rather than pushing ahead with major development work. Ferrari, BAR, Sauber, Williams, Renault, Toyota, Jaguar and McLaren have all been frustrated by the rains and the times have not been very representative with Anthony Davidson fastest for BAR but Rubens Barrichello third quickest after completing only 10 laps. The teams are hoping that the weather will improve so that they can get some meaningful testing before the end of the week.
