TESTING came to a conclusion in Barcelona Friday, where Alexander Wurz finished the day on top of the time sheets for McLaren. The Woking based team once again tested with two cars, Kimi Raikkonen behind the wheel of the other MP4/17.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen was behind the wheel for Arrows Friday. The German was second fastest on the day, nearly seven tenths off Wurz's time.

Jenson Button continued work for Renault. The Briton completed a development program in the morning, and concentrated on long runs in the afternoon. He ended up completing 60 laps, finishing third fastest on the day.

Williams-BMW tested with test drivers Antonio Pizzonia and Marc Gene. Pizzonia was able to complete over 140 laps, while Gene completed over 100. They were, by far, the two busiest men at the circuit Friday.

Jaguar, for the second day in a row, tested the revised R3B, this time with Pedro De la Rosa. The Spaniard ended the day near the bottom of the order, outpacing only Mark Webber in the original R3. This was the Minardi driver's first test with Jaguar.

The teams will now prepare to make the trip to Silverstone for the British GP next weekend.
