Senna's Williams HAS been destroyed

As we reported last week, the Williams chassis in which Ayrton Senna was killed eight years ago at Imola has been destroyed, despite ill-founded rumors that the car is still in existence.

AS we reported last week, the Williams chassis in which Ayrton Senna was killed eight years ago at Imola has been destroyed, despite ill-founded rumors that the car is still in existence.

"I can confirm that the car has been destroyed," Sir Frank Williams told Grandprix.com. "It does not exist any more. End of story."

Senna's helmet, which was also released by the Italian courts, has also been destroyed.
