Scammell to head Cosworth Racing
DICK SCAMMELL, the former boss of Cosworth Racing, is to get his old job back when Ford completes its purchase of the company from current owners Audi AG.
There are also changes coming in the top management at Ford in Detroit with Jac Nasser to become President and chief executive on January 1, replacing current incumbent Alex Trotman, who is to retire. William Clay Ford Jr. will become non-executive chairman of the company. The changes in Dearborn are likely to add impetus to Ford's ambitions in the sport as Trotman was never very enthusiastic about racing while Nasser is currently pushing hard to make Ford successful in F1, rallying and touring car racing.
