Red Bull Racing's drivers Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo were excluded from qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after it was found that they had illegal front wings.

F1 technical delegate Jo Bauer said saturday evening said that the "front wing flaps were designed to flex under aerodynamic load."

Both drivers were excluded from qualifying and will be allowed to start at the back of the grid. Ricciardo had qualified fifth and Vettel was sixth.

Red Bull has accepted the decision, issuing a statement saying "We have been singled out for a front wing deflection test when it is clear that other teams are interpreting the rules in similar fashion."
