Red Bull and McLaren confirm Lambiase move

Red Bull issued a release this afternoon confirming that GianPiero Lambiase will leave the Red Bull F1 team when his current contract is up in 2028.

Fifteen minutes later McLaren issued a press release stating that Lambiase will join the team at the beginning of 2028, in the role of Chief Racing Officer, reporting into Team Principal, Andrea Stella.

There is always the possibility that the teams might negotiate a deal to release him sooner, but there is no word of this at the moment.
