Rahal has something to smile about in the US

JAGUAR RACING boss Bobby Rahal has not had much to smile about this week with the disastrous outcome of Jaguar's bid to hire Adrian Newey.

JAGUAR RACING boss Bobby Rahal has not had much to smile about this week with the disastrous outcome of Jaguar's bid to hire Adrian Newey. But in the United States Rahal's lead driver Kenny Brack has given Bobby something to cheer him up: victory for the second consecutive CART race and increased his lead in the CART series.

Brack held off Michael Andretti on Sunday at Milwaukee to win the event, which follows his victory in Motegi. Rising star Scott Dixon was third in Milwaukee ahead of Brazilian Bruno Junqueira.

Brack's advantage in the championship was boosted by the fact that rivals Helio Castroneves and Cristiano da Matta collided at the first corner.
