Team Rahal is to run a car in the Indy Racing League next year, in addition to its planned involvement in CART and in the Toyota Atlantic series. Bobby Rahal has announced that he has signed up former driver Kenny Brack to be his driver in IRL. Brack spent this year driving for the Target Chip Ganassi Racing team in CART and won the final race of the year in Mexico. The team will field Dallara-Hondas with backing from Miller Lite and Pioneer.

The news marks the start of a new relationship between Rahal and Honda, Bobby having led the Japanese's company's CART efforts back in the early 1990s.
