Prost - Schumacher deserves to beat my record
ALAIN PROST, currently Grand Prix racings biggest winner, has said that German Michael Schumacher deserves to beat the record of 51 victories as the Ferrari driver aims to rack up a half-century of victories at Magny-Cours.
Schumacher could only manage seventh in Friday practice but Prost has accepted that the record will change hands during the next few races.
"My feeling is that it is going to happen," Prost said. "I feel that he deserves to have this kind of record.
"You cannot win more than 50 races if you are not any good and Michael is one of the best of all-time.
"But at the end not many drivers have won more than 50 races and I will be one of them."
