PROST GRAND PRIX confirmed on Thursday that their future will be decided after this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.

PROST GRAND PRIX confirmed on Thursday that their future will be decided after this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.

In an official statement, Prost insisted that "no contract for an engine supply for the 2001 season has been signed... an announcement will be made on future projects in the week after the Belgian Grand Prix."

Team boss Alain Prost is expected to resume negotiations with Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo at Spa this weekend in a bid to earn an engine deal with the Italian team for next season.

Prost met with Di Montezemolo at the Hungarian Grand Prix two weeks ago and also held talks with Benetton team boss Flavio Briatore about the possibility of an engine deal with Supertec.
