Pollock worried over Honda deal

BRITISH AMERICAN RACING boss Craig Pollock says he has not been in contact with engine suppliers Honda over their future together for next season.

BRITISH AMERICAN RACING boss Craig Pollock says he has not been in contact with engine suppliers Honda over their future together for next season.

Speculation has been mounting that Honda, who also supply Jordan with their engines, want to concentrate on just one team next season and that has sparked fears that BAR could lose them as engine suppliers.

Pollock said that both his outfit and Jordan should be concerned about losing the Honda 'works' deal.

"I think both teams should be slightly worried about it," said Pollock. "Honda haven't said anything specifically to me on that subject and obviously they have a binding contract, until the end of next year.

"I haven't even asked Jordan how long their contract is, neither have I asked Honda."
