As we reported recently, Craig Pollock, the former boss of British American Racing and the man who manages Jacques Villeneuve, is to run a team in Champ Cars this year. Pollock has scheduled a press conference on Wednesday which will feature Pollock and CART boss Chris Pook.

Pollock is believed to have bought the assets of the PacWest CART team from Bruce McCaw and there is speculation that the driver will be Patrick Lemarie, a friend of Villeneuve who has been BAR test driver for the last few years.
