Ousted Jaguar Racing driver Antonio Pizzonia is expected to take legal action against Jaguar Racing as a result of his recent firing. Pizzonia was dropped after the British Grand Prix and Justin Wilson was drafted in to replace him. It had been hoped that a settlement would be found between Pizzonia and the team but apparently this has not happened and Pizzonia's management has decided to go ahead with a law suit.
Pizzonia hopes to get back into Formula 1 next year but at the moment there seems to be little hope for him unless he can bring sponsorship to one of the smaller teams or land the role of a test driver with a big team. Pizzonia was Williams test driver before his Jaguar contract but it is not thought likely that Williams will need a second test driver next year.
