While the Formula 1 teams are banned from testing until the Hungarian Grand Prix in three weeks, Ferrari's test driver Luca Badoer remains hard at work at Mugello, testing the Maserati Trofeo prototype which will be used next year to help promote sales of the Maserati range of cars.

The Maserati test team has already been in action at Fiorano and Imola. Badoer completed 73 laps at Mugello without a problem.
