No test limits on teams

As we reported recently it has been agreed that there will be no bans on testing in 2002 - at least not ones which are enforced by the FIA.

AS we reported recently it has been agreed that there will be no bans on testing in 2002 - at least not ones which are enforced by the FIA. If the teams wish to work together to agree testing restrictions amongst themselves they are able to do so but the FIA has made it clear that it will no longer be responsible for policing the testing.

This is not a big surprise as the FIA had nothing to gain from trying to stop the teams testing. Stopping testing will thus need unanimous agreement of all the teams and therefore it is unlikely that there will be any bans as getting everyone to agree is usually impossible.
