JORDAN GRAND PRIX announced on Thursday the appointment of Gabriele Delli-Colli as Jarno Trulli's senior race engineer for the 2001 world championship.

JORDAN GRAND PRIX announced on Thursday the appointment of Gabriele Delli-Colli as Jarno Trulli's senior race engineer for the 2001 world championship.

Dino Toso departed the Silverstone-based team at the end of last season and Eddie Jordan has moved to add 34-year-old Delli-Colli to his ranks as Italian Trulli's engineer.

"Jordan's new partnership with Honda provides the team with its best chance yet of winning the world championship," Delli-Colli said.

Delli-Colli worked with Trulli at Minardi in 1997 after working in the German Touring Car Championship. He has spent the last three years as chief engineer at Sauber.
