New McLaren to begin testing next week

The all-new McLaren-Mercedes MP4/18 is due to begin testing after the Brazilian Grand Prix and although the team says that the new car might be used in San Marino, it is more likely that the team will want to wait until it has had a lot more testing miles. The issue is one of reliability as McLaren had a lead in the World Championship and would like to maintain the advantage gained in the first two races, particularly as Ferrari has been able to do a lot of testing with its all new F2003 GA chassis, which has also yet to make its racing debut.
