SANDRO NANNINI is expected to test a Minardi this winter, but the 37-year-old Italian is only having fun and has no plans of trying to make an F1 comeback.
SANDRO NANNINI is expected to test a Minardi this winter, but the 37-year-old Italian is only having fun and has no plans of trying to make an F1 comeback. Nannini drove for Benetton until a helicopter accident in October 1990 in which his right arm was severed below the elbow. A team of micro-surgeons re-attached the damaged arm and Sandro has been racing successful for Alfa Romeo in the International Touring Car Championship.
Minardi will fit Benetton's power-steering and a semi-automatic gearbox to the M195B to help Sandro drive the car.
