Mosley says FIA will regulate two championships
FIA President Max Mosley has told Motors TV that, if necessary the FIA will regulate two competing World Championships.
"If they want two championships we will regulate two championships," he said. "Our job is to be the general regulator of all motorsport. We cannot control the business."
Mosley warned, however, that there is a need for the different parties involved in F1 to find a compromise to avoid driving away sponsors.
"That is what we are worried about," he said.
Mosley was asked about his future ambitions after his current term finishes at the FIA.
