Montoya fastest at Valencia
The testing lineup slimmed down Friday in Valencia, with five teams in action.
Pedro De la Rosa gave Jaguar something to be positive about Friday. The Spaniard was second fastest on the day behind Montoya, with Jaguar's most competitive testing time to date.
Heinz-Harald Frentzen had a pace-quickening session when he lost the rear wing on his A23 at nearly 200mph on two separate occasions. The German miraculously prevented big accidents, parking the Arrows in the gravel at the end of the main straight after the first occurrence, and hitting the barriers lightly after the second.
BAR tested with Jacques Villeneuve, Olivier Panis and Anthony Davidson again Friday, and Minardi continued their testing program with team drivers Mark Webber and Alex Yoong.
