Last weekend at Misano Ferrari held a big celebration to show the Italian fans the cars which have been so dominant in this year's Formula 1 World Championship.

Minardi has been less successful but the team is still hugely popular and it will be holding a "Minardi Day" at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, to celebrate the team's ninth place in the Constructors' Championship. The event will see four of the team's two-seater F1 cars in action and these will be used to give around 50 passengers a thrilling ride around the circuit. The driver line-up for the event includes KL Minardi Formula 1 driver, Alex Yoong, the

team's Formula One tester, Matteo Bobbi, F3000 frontrunner, Giorgio Pantano, and team boss, Paul Stoddart.

There will also be pit-stop simulations carried out by Russian driver Sergey Zlobin in a 2001 Minardi PS01 and there will also be a display by the Minardi Formula Renault Junior Team.
