A suggestion that has been whispered in the F1 paddock in recent days is that Ferrari may be planning to offer Michael Schumacher shares in the company rather than trying to meet his huge salary demands.

A suggestion that has been whispered in the F1 paddock in recent days is that Ferrari may be planning to offer Michael Schumacher shares in the company rather than trying to meet his huge salary demands. Ferrari is having to look closely at its budgets because of the financial problems with Fiat and the fact that the company now has shareholders and so will be forced to give more of its profits to the owners of the company rather than putting the money back into racing.
