MF1 to test Rusinov
Some Formula 1 teams have been known to generate income by offering drivers tests and one gets the impression that MF1 may be doing the same as the list of drivers who are due to test for the team in the next few weeks continues to grow with the latest name to be added to the pile being that of Russia's Roman Rusinov.

"It would not be an exaggeration to say that I have been waiting my entire career for this moment," said Rusinov. "This test is the first but crucial step on my way to F1. At this point, my aim is to learn the peculiarities of an F1 car and familiarise myself with the way an F1 team works. My arrival in F1 depends on numerous factors, but the most important thing for me right now is to concentrate on driving the car quickly and properly. I believe I have shown this ability throughout my career and I am positive that I will perform well this time."
Rusinov began racing in France in 1999 with the Formula Campus competition and raced in France in 2000 and 2001. In 2002 he switched to Formula Palmer Audi and finished third in the series and then moved into the Euro 3000 series in 2003. Since then he has raced in sports cars, becoming the Le Mans Endurance Series Champion in 2004 and racing a Maserati in the FIA GT Championship this year.
