Lukoil to be Russian GP sponsor - report

Organisers of the Russian grand prix look to have secured a title sponsor for the fourth edition of the Sochi race this year.

Sportbox, a Russian-language media source, claims organisers have already begun to install the branding of the new title sponsor around the 5.8 kilometre layout, located in the Black Sea resort town.

It is Lukoil, Russia's second-largest oil company, headquartered in Moscow.

Sportbox cautioned that the news is unconfirmed.
