Karthikeyan expecting to test for Jaguar in January
NARAIN KARTHIKEYAN is expecting to make his Formula One testing debut with Jaguar Racing at the start of January.
Karthikeyan, who is bidding to become the first Indian driver in Formula One, has revealed that he is planning to get behind the wheel of a Jaguar F1 car for a test in Spain.
"I think it will happen in the second or third week of January," said Karthikeyan, who was promised a Formula One test with Jaguar when he signed for the Stewart Racing team in the British Formula Three Championship.
Karthikeyan's Stewart Racing team-mate last season Tomas Scheckter was confirmed as Jaguar Racing's official test driver for next season and Karthikeyan is hoping to follow in his footsteps.
