Minardi recently lost its commercial chief Rupert Manwaring to Lola but the team is shortly expected to name Paul Jordan as his replacement. Jordan has a long experience in racing which dates back to the late 1970s when he began working with Mick Reed in the FIM Motorcycle World Championship. He then moved on to TWR before a spell with the ATS F1 team. He did not return to F1 until he moved up from Formula 3000 with Eddie Jordan (no relation) in 1994. In recent years he has worked at Benetton and BAR but for the last two seasons has been running his own motorsport job-hunting business finding specialised staff for racing teams.
