Jordan to give Schneider a chance
YOUNG German Touring Car driver Timo Schneider will get an opportunity to realize his Formula One dream after being told he will test with Jordan at the end of the season.
Schneider stepped up from German Formula Three to race in the touring car series, but said that he eventually wants to move into Formula One and fulfil a lifetime ambition.
"Naturally I'm looking forward to my first Formula One test," said Schneider.
"I am very glad that Jordan is giving me this possibility because Formula One was and still is my target. But, for now, I am going to concentrate on the DTM.
"It gives me the possibility to develop myself with a high-powered racing car and in a professional environment."
