Jordan talks of restructuring
Eddie Jordan says that if he has to cut more jobs at his team, he will do so in order to make the team "tighter, more committed and harder.
The team has announced a number of sponsorship deals of late including a major new arrangement with Deutsche Post and a series of smaller deals with firms such as Virgin Mobile and Imation but this has not stopped the rumors. It should also be remembered that there is currently a law suit going on between Jordan and Heinz-Harald Frentzen over whether or not the German driver should be paid for this season as Jordan terminated his contract early.
Jordan has been one of the loudest voices in recent weeks over the question of the need for F1 budgets to be reduced to help the smaller teams.
Jordan is hoping that the performance of the Honda engines will improve to allow Giancarlo Fisichella to show the full potential of the 2002 car - which has not really been seen to date.
