Jordan Grand Prix announced today an agreement with Shoulu-Huayuan Co. the largest property development company in China. The company will sponsor the team for the Chinese Grand Prix and is an effort to promote the 'Beijing Chateau' a luxury apartment complex situated in Beijing's Central Business District.

Mr. Xu Peijian, Director & General Manager of Shoulu-Huayuan Co. knew there was a huge buzz surrounding the upcoming race in Shanghai. "Lots of our staff members are motor racing fans, and the forthcoming race in Shanghai is causing a lot of media excitement. We sincerely wish the Chinese Grand Prix every success and we hope that the Jordan team will do well here. Sponsoring the Jordan team for this race is the ideal way to create interest in our new high class apartment building, the Beijing Chateau."

Eddie Jordan has experience in the Chinese market after inking a deal earlier in the year with B&Q China. Both B&Q and Shoulu-Huayuan Co. will feature prominent branding on the Jordan Ford EJ14's at the inaugural Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai from September 24-26. Eddie Jordan commented on the deal, "There is remarkable excitement building up towards the first Chinese Grand Prix and we are really pleased to be part of it. This partnership is our second Chinese sponsorship (our first being B&Q China) and further strengthens our links with the important Chinese business community. We are very pleased to welcome the Shoulo-Huayan Company into the Jordan family of partners, and hope that this deal will lead to other opportunities with the company. Jordan appeals to Chinese business and fans, in part because the color yellow symbolizes prestigious values in Chinese culture, but also because we are an open, friendly team that is accessible to everyday people."
