Jordan at Mireval
THE Jordan Peugeot team ran two simultaneous tests last week with one team at Silverstone running Ralf Schumacher for a day of testing while another did two days of running at the Goodyear test track at Mireval, near Montpelier with Giancarlo Fisichella.
The track - which was cleared for F1 testing earlier this year by the FIA - is near Montpellier and is very useful for testing as it enjoys the same good weather as Paul Ricard but is located at sea level. It includes a variety of different testing facilities including a wet-weather track. Jordan's visit appears to have been to try out a variety of wet and intermediate tires on the track - despite the high temperatures in the area.
