Jaguar announces DuPont partnership

Jaguar Racing announced a new partnership with DuPont Performance Coatings, a branch of American materials company DuPont.

JAGUAR RACING announced a new partnership with DuPont Performance Coatings, a branch of American materials company DuPont, on Tuesday, a deal that will see the DuPont logo run on the nosecone of the R3 during the coming season.

DuPont is the Premier Automotive Group's main supplier of automotive finishes, but extends that relationship by becoming a partner with the Jaguar team.

Niki Lauda had this to say about the partnership, "Welcoming Dupont as a Jaguar Racing partner is a good boost for our team because of their complimentary values and outstanding reputation in material science. This will help deliver many benefits to Jaguar Racing both on and off the track. We couldn't be happier about the fit and the mutual benefits we see in the relationship going forward."

Jaguar has been releasing a steady stream of positive news lately, presumably to offset news about the disappointing performance of the new R3. Last week, the Milton Keynes based team announced a "new" sponsorship with EDS, who's logo was displayed on the front wing of the R2 during last year's Japanese GP.
