Infineon team up with Jordan
INFINEON TECHNOLOGIES AG announced on Thursday that they have extended their involvement and profile in Formula One by sponsoring Jordan.
The contract, which begins for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in March, will feature close technical cooperations with the Silverstone-based team, as well as joint marketing activities.
Dr. Soenke Mehrgardt, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Infineon said: "As a leader in high technology, innovation, speed and global reach, Infineon has a lot in common with Formula One.
"We are sure that our racing experience will bring some solid benefits to the Jordan team and we are really looking forward to working with them."
